"Tribute to Gandhi"
0

Originally a palace belonging to Rani Mangammal of Nayak Dynasty, it was converted into Gandhi Museum in 1959. The Museum pays rich tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and his struggle against the colonial rule in the subcontinent. The exhibits include a blood-stained kurta which Gandhi was wearing at the time of his assassination and letters written by Gandhi to various dignitaries including Adolf Hitler. Also on display is the "Visual Biography of Bapuji" which contain pictures, manuscripts, and other memorabilia.
