The Kennedy Homestead is a distinct heritage museum that is dedicated to the preservation of the legacy of Kennedy Family, the ancestors of John F. Kennedy, in Ireland. The homestead has a modern state-of-the-art interpretative exhibit which explores the events of Patrick Kennedy’s departure from Ireland in 1848 and narrates the story of the well-known Irish–American family through the 20th-century to the present day.
