"Historical Museum"

These three unique museums, located within a few steps of each other, recount the 1100-year-old story of Waterford, Ireland's oldest city founded by the Vikings in 914 AD. Reginald’s Tower, a gigantic stone fortress, houses the Viking museum. It is the only Medieval Museum in Ireland. The exhibits here include an extraordinary collection of historical and architectural treasures.

Waterford Viking Triangle

The Waterford Viking Triangle is part of the cultural and heritage area in Waterford City. It is so called because of the 1000-year-old Viking walls which once surrounded it. Perhaps the most famous building in the triangle is Reginald's Tower but the triangle is also the site of the Medieval Museum and the Bishop's Palace Museum, collectively known as Waterford Museum of Treasures.
