"A must-visit nature centre"
0

Conservancy of Southwest Florida is a Nature Center which offers hands-on interactive experiences. One of the best experience was the mangrove boat trip which lasted about 2 hours. The guide told us about birds and vegetation around. Within the premises, they also have a wildlife animal hospital too. A great place to explore!

Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The mission of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is to “protect Southwest Florida’s unique natural environment and quality of life, now and forever.”

The Conservancy dates back to 1964 when a small group of concerned citizens in Naples succeeded in stopping the construction of a roadway through Rookery Bay. Ever since, the Conservancy has focused on protecting the water, land and wildlife of the unique Southwest Florida area through environmental policy, science, education and wildlife rehabilitation.

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida focuses its efforts in five Southwest Florida counties: Collier, Charlotte, Lee, Hendry and Glades.

Just south of the Naples Zoo, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is located off of Goodlette-Frank Road, at 14th Avenue North in Naples, FL, 1495 Smith Preserve Way, Naples FL 34102. The new entrance, Smith Preserve Way, is located just south of the Naples Zoo off Goodlette-Frank Road.
