Saint Mary's Cathedral is one of the most loved classical ecclesiastical structures in Limerick. It offers a magnificent view of the majestic River Shannon. It had been the Royal Residence of the Kings of Thomond until 1168 when it was presented to the church. People are offering prayers in the church for the last 850 years.
