Exciting Experience : Really beautiful location: went at sunset on a weekday and practically had it to ourselves. Stunning view across the Duddon estuary to Black Coombe. Hiking average distance, very nice. We had the chance to see the seals having fun on the water.

avatarpicture eastonboyer THE BEST REVIEW
Stunning garden in a beautiful location: This beautiful garden is located in the town of Pitmedden. A great place to visit during the summers and there's plenty of parking available. The garden has its own charm. Ladybirds, butterflies and bees in the sculptured hedges with pretty looking blossoms. This garden is a great day out.

Aberdeen Maritime Museum Full review

avatarpicture spiritaway THE BEST REVIEW
A Must Visit : This was a fantastic place to visit with our family and it was free to enter! Our sons loved the quiz that they could complete whilst looking at the exhibitions and there were lots of interactive items to keep them busy whilst learning at the same time. The café was great too! We would definitely recommend.

Provost Skene's House Full review

avatarpicture maynardmakad THE BEST REVIEW
Historic Place : It is a shame that this wonderful-looking build from so many years ago is surrounded by the new monstrosity recently built on the site where the previous council offices were which was another monstrosity. An open park with seating and grass instead of yet more hotels and restaurants would have been so much nicer.

Aberdeen Art Gallery Full review
Travel picture of Aberdeen Art Gallery
avatarpicture baileeglover THE BEST REVIEW
Not Bad : The gallery is OK for a small town as Aberdeen but nothing special at all. It does not usually have any interesting exhibition on art just some ordinary and not high standard pieces but it is entertaining for an hour of so and...it is just Aberdeen you can't expect much!

St. Machar's Cathedral Full review
Travel picture of St. Machar's Cathedral
avatarpicture janeortico THE BEST REVIEW
An architectural splendour: This cathedral is from the 12th-century and has beautiful interiors. Beautiful ceilings and grounds of tombstones are simply picturesque. A stroll through the premises of the cathedral was quite informative too with all the plaques on display. Apart from the history, the architecture was the best.

Simply Beautiful : Beautiful building, worth a visit if you're in Aberdeen and it's a nice walk out of the busy main shopping area. Gorgeous place. Much of the original craftsmanship survived the reformation. A must see. Probably, the most beautiful building in Aberdeen!

Scenic Surroundings and Fascinating Portraits. : It is one of the largest tower houses in Scotland. The Castle is extraordinarily interesting and captivating thanks to its fascinating collection of portraits and historic treasures. The view of the surroundings atop the round tower is remarkable. Some of the quirky features include a spy hole, secret staircases, and Laird’s Lug.

avatarpicture roxanekohl THE BEST REVIEW
Natural Surroundings : My favourite garden to visit. Superb herbaceous borders are a particular highlight as well as the historic yew hedges. And on top of that there is the Castle and the outdoor activities. Well worth a visit at any time of year but especially mid to late summer for the herbaceous borders.
