A beautiful mountain park! : This beautiful mountain park has a lot of activities to enjoy with the whole family. We loved our ride on the cable car and also enjoyed biking around the place. This park has the world's largest piece of exposed granite and makes you feel closer to nature. Do check if the place is open before you decide to visit.

They have an interesting display of diverse art collection and modern architecture. Great place to visit during our holiday, friendly staff and art for all.

Exploring the underwater world! : This is one of the world's largest aquariums with interactive galleries and exhibits of marine life. It was a great opportunity for us to learn and explore a world under the sea. Our kids loved the tour of the place. From sharks to penguins, there was pretty much everything related to marine life!

A fascinating historic site dedicated to Dr. King: This historical park is not just any other park. It is a National Park which was the birth home of Dr. King. It was an amazing experience. There are several buildings here, including the house where he grew up and the church was he was baptized. We loved every exhibit detailing his life here.

Exciting experience for a CNN fan: This is the world headquarters of CNN. There were some tours that provided behind-the-scenes operation of the CNN TV news. It was a great chance for us to get up close to the global news in the making. It was an enjoyable and informative experience, all thanks to our tour guide.

A museum dedicated to civil war! : The Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum are one of the key attractions in town. Two floors of the building are filled with artifacts and photos of the Civil War. The staff was really knowledgeable and helpful too. There's a unique piece of art here too, which is a massive circular painting.

Learn about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was once a co-pastor at this historic church. It is well preserved and was an interesting place to visit. This Baptist church has become a historic landmark. After the church visit, we also went to the King Centre. There were no charges to enter the church premises.

It is a great place of worship and played a great role in the Civil Rights Movement back in the days. If you are a fan of Dr. King's work, we suggest you pay a visit to the place and hear all the stories of his fight and leadership.

An interactive modern zoo! : This massive modern zoo houses over 1000's of animals including gorillas and pandas. From interactive maps to education programs, there's so much to do here. Our little ones' absolutely loved the place and we spent almost a day exploring the place. The price of admission was slightly expensive but there are so many activities to do here that the cost gets justified!

Scenic location in the centre of the city: This urban park houses Atlanta Botanical Gardens and hosts summer festivals. Its a beautiful space in the middle of the city. A great place to visit to enjoy a stroll and go biking. There are many trails here in the park and is a gorgeous place to explore! Highly recommended if you are in town!
