Hiking, fishing and so much more at this scenic lake: A visit to the scenic Lake Martin was an amazing experience. We enjoyed fishing and boating in the lake. It was one of the nicest and cleanest Lake in Alabama. The lake has a huge coastline to explore. There were trails and crossroads for those who love hiking. A must-visit!

An amazing tour! : LeBlanc Swamp Tour was hosted on a little boat where we enjoyed the ride through the swamps. We had a mini-encounter with the Gators and our guide was narrating a lot of stories related to the area and he was overall an entertainer too. We totally enjoyed every bit of the beautiful wildlife around the lake Martin.

Learn more about the African American History : We loved learning the history of the African American experience and their culture. The museum had some interesting exhibits that we loved learning more about and some of them were interactive too. We spent almost 2 hours on a quick tour of the museum. Overall the museum was a learning experience for us.

Truly a hidden gem of a place! : This cultural center had interesting exhibits about the history and culture of the Cajun people. We enjoyed going through the old buildings and admiring the displays in the house. We spent an hour here and learned a lot about the Cajun culture. Overall an informative and entertaining experience.

Get a glimpse of early life in Lafayette : This is one of the key attractions in Lafayette, Louisiana. A historic village that showcases Cajun and Creole culture and early lifestyle. The structures here are well restored. It was indeed a pleasant surprise on how well the place has been maintained and how much it is there to learn about the local history and local artisans.
