Cappella Palatina Full review

Recommended : Personally, this chapel is my highlight in Palermo. A pity that one has to buy a combo- ticket including the palace- museum, which did not interest and thus not convince me. The chapel as such is just impressive and a beautiful piece of art. Adorable!

avatarpicture vincentkos THE BEST REVIEW
Great Place : In Palermo and Sicily you can see a lot of baroque and flamboyant architecture, rich palazzos, piazzas... But this is a great place to 'peek' into an interior of such places. Interior design, style and furniture of noble, high class family of classical Palermo. I would only have liked if the guide and explanation have been better.

Nice Place : The exterior of this church is very cute. This is obviously another good architecture example of combination of mosque and church. I did not enter the church as it charged entry fee. It is really small, so they hang a blanket at the gate to avoid peek.

Splendid Experience : We stay there 4 nights with all the family. Rooms are very clean and quite large. For winter time, there is might a lack of light since the building configuration doesn’t allow large windows. Location is quite convenient and for those who don’t like walking there is a City free shuttle bus at 100 m from the hotel departing every 20 minutes.

Exciting Place : This Church is a bare ruin, so there are no frescos or mosaics, just the empty Church that is still standing, the garden and a column structure in the garden. Somewhat underwhelming at first, but this becomes a much more exciting visit if you climb the nearby belfry tower of the adjoining Church to get a view of the surroundings.
