The Famous Grouse Experience Full review
Travel picture of The Famous Grouse Experience
avatarpicture aidenbearman THE BEST REVIEW
Excellent Place : Great little distillery and shop. Tour of the actual distillery is very short but worth seeing as it links into the Grouse Experience as well. Its more tourist attraction than hard-core operation, but a great introduction to the whiskey making process. The shop also had some great examples of Glenturret single malt and Grouse collectibles.

A spectacular experience - distillery tour : Located on the banks of Turret River, this distillery took us on a fascinating journey of handcrafted Whisky is made. They have been perfecting the traditional art of making Scotch malt whisky since 1775. The tour guide was informative and friendly, he took us through the tour and we did some tasting too.

Historical and Serene: Serene and peaceful, the cathedral is a perfect location to enjoy the sun sitting by the riverside. The church's architecture is impressive. The surrounding grounds offer a tranquil stroll around the building. On the inside, the plaques tell about the history of the church. There is a tomb behind the altar with an interesting story attached to it.

Worth A Visit : This is definitely worth the trip. And Leslie in the shop is delightful! Check out the Scottish Ghost Stories on the bookshelf. This castle is out of the way enough that you get it almost to yourself. We were leaving when I found out there was a way down to the river. Make sure you go down for me.
