Excellent Park : One of the most beautiful town plazas I've visited. On one side there is the beautiful cathedral, and the others museums, restaurants, and cafés. Lively day and night! Ideal place to work out or simply hang out and admire the trees. Definitely, a must if you are in Tres Cerritos.
A little private museum to learn about the indigenous cultures: This museum has an interesting collection of South-American indigenous objects. Understand and learn about the South-American culture with your visit to this small museum. The materials are well preserved and high-quality. They have real intriguing archaeological finds and some rare pieces on exhibit here. If you are a fan of cultural exploration, this place is highly recommended.
A Historic Place: A nice museum with very interesting items (art, archeological, religious etc.) from different eras in the history of Salta Province. The building and the inner patio are beautiful. No explanations in English, though. (taking pics inside the museum is not allowed)
Worth A Visit: If you want to get info about the history of Argentina, then this museum is a must visit for you. Very informative and highly recommended. You will also find a lot of children mummies in this museum so avoid taking kids with you.
An art lovers paradise: A well-maintained exhibit of new and old art spread across two floors. We enjoyed our visit here for the quality of the art they have on display and also because the visit was free. Excellent sculptures, paintings and art on display to admire from local and international artists. I wouldn't add it to a must visit unless you are an art lover, but we enjoyed the place overall!
A visit to an old cathedral: This Roman Catholic cathedral in Salta is a must visit if you love the intricate details and colour of the metropolitan architecture. We fell in love with the place for the art, the colours and impressive figures they had on display inside. What's fascinating is that this touristic old cathedral has replaced the bell with a Nokia ringtone. This has been a National monument for over 60 years here.

Colourful church with intriguing architecture: It's hard to miss this landmark from the 18th Century. The tall church with gorgeously decorated white pillars is a colourful church in memory of St Francis. With copious altars and statues, this is one of the most beautiful churches in South America. Do visit the place if you are exploring the neighbourhood.
