Royal Alcázar of Seville Full review
Travel picture of Royal Alcázar of Seville
avatarpicture samantharide THE BEST REVIEW
Wait time is long but worth the tour! : This is a royal palace in Seville and is known to be one of the oldest palaces in the world. The palace tour was impressive and our guide was great too. He told us all the stories and tales behind the palace and the royalty. Although we had booked our tickets online, the wait time was a little too long.

Spend a pleasant afternoon taking a stroll and enjoying good food. : We took a stroll by the streets enjoying the views, doing some window shopping and relishing some local food at the little cafes along the way. We chose a weekday instead of a weekend to explore Santa Cruz as we were warned of the crowd by our tour guide. There are some really good restaurants around the corner, do give them a try.

Casa de Pilatos Full review

Highly Recommended : This is a large, two level palace. The upper story requires an additional ticket and can only be visited as part of a guided tour. There are many beautiful things on the upper floor - not quite to the quality you'd see in a royal palace but still quite beautiful.

Very Interesting : Truly beautiful, grandiose architectural engineering that has stood the test of time. The history contained in this structure was overwhelming. I was whelmed times two! After our tour we retreated to one of the many restaurants, bars and shops across the street to reflect and discuss.

A jewel on the inside: It is an exciting place to visit. Especially on the inside, the frescos, paintings and the plasterwork captivate the visitors. Photographs cannot capture the absolute and stunning beauty of the art inside the church. Do visit and treat yourself with the paintings and tranquil ambience of this fascinating church.

Palace of the Countess of Lebrija Full review
Travel picture of Palace of the Countess of Lebrija
avatarpicture alfonsonikolaus THE BEST REVIEW
Much Better Place : The Countess filled her homes with a shocking array of archaeological finds. If you don't speak Spanish, you might not be able to understand what everything is because the signs are only in Spanish. However, the more spectacular items in the collection - namely the impressive Roman mosaics - require no labels to understand.

A great flamenco experience : An impressive venue for Seville's best flamenco along with Flamenco Dance Museum. It's a great place to learn more about the Andalusian cultural heritage. Everything from the origin, influences and history of the popular dance form. The museum visit and the show cost us about 22 Euros and were well worth the money.

Hospital de la Caridad Full review
Travel picture of Hospital de la Caridad
avatarpicture ashleeharber THE BEST REVIEW
Interesting visit to another architectural wonder in town: Located in Seville, this hospital was founded in 1674 and is still operational. Another architectural and artistic ensemble of the Spanish art that will astonish you. Most art displays we saw here was just reproduction and were stolen by Napoleon's military in the past. Apart from the hospital itself, the ornate church here is a major attraction.

Wonderful Experience : Very impressive, we loved the history of the bull ring and the stories of the matadors. There is an interesting collection of painting and artifacts. I like the audio guide. It brings a sense of drama to what you are seeing. The only thing that could be better is the tour is too quick. You get pushed along. Personally I like to reflect a little bit on what I'm seeing and hearing. Still recommen...
