Worth A Visit : Excellent value for money. We had a lovely day enjoying the wonderful Xmas decorations. The staff and guides were all friendly and helpful. The live music was delightful and the visitors were on their feet dancing. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and strongly recommend a visit. We visited to see the Xmas decorations in December.

Great place to visit: We love this museum. It's a fantastic idea for a family day out. Out favourite bit is an old English street with old shops and houses. It really gives you an idea what life looked like back then. The street looks and smells real. You can buy old fashion sweets there too.

Beautiful cathedral: One of the most awe inspiring cathedrals I've set eyes on. I visited on Christmas eve and attended the evensong at 4 o'clock. Amazing experience especially during Christmas. The cathedral is a must visit experience in York. It's located close to the shambles as well and and the gardens are lovely.

National Railway Museum York Full review
avatarpicture spiritaway THE BEST REVIEW
A Must Visit : Great day out with the kids. We went with a 2 and 3 year old who just wanted to ride trains. Great that it's free entry and we had a look at the Japanese bullet train and then miniature model railway set. We then walked through and went on both the train rides which you understandably have to pay for.

Great Attraction of the town with millions visiting each year!: The Walls are the longest medieval town walls in England and beautifully preserved. The locals say that a visit to the York will remain incomplete without a walk around the City Walls. Walking alongside the walls, one is delighted by the wonderful scenery around.
