Chile's Largest Salt Flat: A phenomenal sight. Visiting near the sunset hours was one of the best decisions I've ever made as the views the location has to offer are magnificent. We were able to see flamingos, looking as elegant as ever right before the sun began to set. This location is every photographer's dream, the skies are constantly changing colors during the sunset which you can see reflecting in the lake. The mo...

Clear Blue Skies and Steamy Grounds: A really magical day that I can't seem to get out of my head. As you stand at the entrance of El Tatio you can already see the steam coming off of the grounds and the tiny clusters of grass here and there, paired with a pale blue sky and rocky grey mountains. We were asked to stick to a path and maintain a certain distance towards the geysers to avoid any sort of harm. Once we had managed to fi...

Volcanic World: The Licancabur Volcano exists in a perfect cone shape in all its glory which makes it a hard climbing excursion, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Using proper guidance, itinerary and technique, one can enjoy the magnificent views the volcano has to offer. You'll float too: Take a dip in of the lagunas at Laguna de Piedras and you'll notice that you're floating. It was such an amazing feeling and most of us couldn't help but laugh at the sensation. This happens due to the high concentration of salt in the water, which causes us to float. Bring your swimming gear and take a dip, it'll be worth it. Volcan Licancabur - the epitome of perfection: The snow-capped volcano is an easy hike even for the inexperienced and is quite a fun journey. It overlooks the lake Laguna Verda which is a beautiful cerulean but is unfortunately contaminated. While we preferred to take our time and made a 3-day trip, some opt for 2 days. We took our time to enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings and concluded that it is definitely a 10/10 experience.

This might be the driest place on Earth but it's magnificently pleasant on the eyes: Salt caves, jugged mountains and endless valleys are what make up the Valle de la Luna. Wonderful Hike with a Marvelous View: On a hot summer's day, we took off for a hike along the ridge of the canyon and in search of the oasis.
