Cattedrale di Santa Chiara Full review
Travel picture of Cattedrale di Santa Chiara
avatarpicture alveraward THE BEST REVIEW
Great Visiting Place : To visit because it is simply sober and beautiful. Help with prayer and meditation. Although the Middle Ages was not a particularly happy historical period, the cathedral keeps the atmosphere intact. Next to the altar is a wooden homage to Sant'Antioco which alone is worth the visit. Iglesias and all to visit and learn .... and to religious sentiment we can add a Viva Santa Chiara!

Museo Etnografico "Antico Mulino ad Acqua Licheri" Full review
avatarpicture aidenbearman THE BEST REVIEW
Must See : Rich and precise collection of objects from the past, donated by proud inhabitants of Fluminimaggiore. The mill was working, temporarily resting due to a recent flood. The young but passionate guide ALESSANDRA is our guide, patient and willing to respond to our pressing questions. Considering the ridiculous cost of the ticket (€ 5 combined at the temple of Antasa), do not miss it !!!

avatarpicture abigontario THE BEST REVIEW
Great Place : This cemetery of Punic children dating from over 2,000 years is a reminder of the barbarism of ancient times when child sacrifices were part of religious rituals. Not much by way of interpretation though the custodian offered to take us round.

Nice Experience : Place of culture and mining history, of men, of eras, of studies, of experiential educational applications. One morning very well spent at a low cost. 5 euros are more than adequate to the considerable amount of materials and the passion and ability to explain guides, volunteers, also available to open for one person on reservation.

At that time, roads were constructed, housing for miners and commercial spaces necessary for the life of the community, the "Bellavista" building (built in 1865-66) in a dominating position on the valley and surrounded by trees, the headquarters of the Mine and housing managers...

Nebida Full review
Travel picture of Nebida
avatarpicture joedalton THE BEST REVIEW
A scenic coastal town with lots of things to do: This was once a great mining village that has reformed itself into a coastal resort town. Turquoise waters, warm sea breezes and amazing views are some of the reasons why Nebida crawled into our must-visit list. There are plenty of things to do and places to visit within the destination, so a day tour might not do justice.

Nice Architecture : Not really open to the public, but you can look from the street and feel what life must have been like here in the 1930's and '40's. The architecture was supposed to symbolize modern, rational, functional thought. All the offices face an open interior courtyard and have large windows and balconies.
