Worth A Visit : Rainy day on the launch to Brantwood , we just went for the lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it under a parasol on the terrace. The wild birds came to share our crumbs and delighted us with their welcome. A beautiful view of Coniston water and a perfect hour or so of peace and calm. Coming back for the house and views in the autumn.

avatarpicture lowellschuppe THE BEST REVIEW
Beautiful Place : We did the via-ferrata classic and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd probably recommend doing the extreme version if you're after a bit of excitement as the classic is more of a stroll up a mountain, but the staff were great and the views at the top of Fleetwith Pike are spectacular.

avatarpicture nikoledo THE BEST REVIEW
Just Brilliant : Nice large car park and toilet facilities close by at the theatre by the lake, there is a fee for both, in my experience free parking and toilets within the lake district is almost non-existent. Keswick and Derwent water are hugely popular so be prepared for lots of people and noise,

Nice Place : We have stayed at Limefitt Park many times before and enjoy the relaxing setting of the park. Robin View is suitable for couples (or with children as there is a 2nd twin room) but two couples would be a squeeze due to the family bathroom and no en-suite.

Fantastic Place : A remarkably small, but an interesting cathedral. Intimate. In a city that is also small and interesting. Unless you are from Cumbria I feel it is so easy just to flash past on the M6 or stop further south in the Lakes. Both the Cathedral & the city are well worth the effort to visit.
