White Island Full review

avatarpicture janeortico THE BEST REVIEW
Just Beautiful : You have to take a boat from Archdale countrypark Marina to White Island. Every half an hour they sail up and down to White Island 5 pounds per person. Sailing is actually more fun than what you see on white Island. It is a ruin of an old Romanesque church (formerly a wooden one) with a few bizarre statues, (probably celtic). You've seen it in fifteen minutes.

Very Beautiful : Very interesting and picturesque venue. You can tell it's been heavily invested in to modernise tour. Personally, I find the virtual tour is a bit bland or I'd have given 5 stars. Not sure if they offer a human guided tour during peak season, but I think it could benefit from that if they got a suitable character to do it

Peaceful place soaked in history and greenery: Shrouded under the trees, the ruins of the castle offer a stunning spectacle. The woods offer a scenic walk through the zigzag forest tracks and are abound with beautiful birdlife and filled with adorable red squirrels. The forest has a magical vibe and is filled with serenity. For people like me who fantasize about spending time in a calm place packed with greenery, the woods are an ideal ...

avatarpicture lowellschuppe THE BEST REVIEW
A great informative tour of Pottery making: There are a number of informative language tours that are available of this old building. They took us through the whole process, showed us the equipment used and got us to interact with the factory employees too. We loved every bit of the tour around the oldest working potteries in the world since 1857. If you are interested in the craft, you can purchase a few from their retail store.

avatarpicture roxaneback THE BEST REVIEW
A beautiful castle amidst the greenery: This castle in Northern Ireland is a historic monument located in the midst of farmland. The place wasn't packed with many tourists which is probably why we loved the location more. The location was picturesque and we enjoyed our walk around the castle. It is indeed a hidden gem of Enniskillen.

Well Maintained.: Beautiful peaceful setting with plenty of things to see. Didn't go into the house but took one of the shorter walks. Lovely gardens to walk in as well. Small cafe which serves snacks and light lunches which was no more expensive than anywhere else. Plenty of parking and not too expensive to get in.
