Exciting Experience : Very nice relaxing place if you go there on a day with good weather. Please do all your research before going to be prepared, even though it’s a trek you need to prepare with correct clothing and provisions. Lovely day out and was fortunate with the weather.

Superb Place : Loved it. We were pleasantly surprised how much of the castle you can actually access. You are able to climb up into the towers and most of the castle is open to explore. We loved the film that was playing explaining the history of the castle on a large circular screen. The museum was also brilliant.

Beautiful Place : Great visit, easily took up two and a half hours, longer if we'd spent more time looking around the excellent arts and crafts shops. The tea and cake we had was well priced and tasted lovely. The tour itself wasn't expensive and actually proved very enjoyable for adults and children. A great value attraction. Many thanks to all the staff.

Average Place : All I can say is that the whole place seems in a dilapidated state of repair. A general tidy up, some redecoration and weedkiller may be the order of the day. The place seemed exactly the same as 20 years ago just more run down.

Captivating Journey: The views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking. It is a wonderful journey aboard the train. The staff is really helpful. Tea was good and trains well-maintained. Fascinating scenery with smoking tea gives the trip a romantic vibe. Quite a ride to spend beautiful time with the loved ones.

Lovely Experience : Absolutely awesome place for aviation lovers! Had so much fun here. Got to sit in the cockpits of some of the planes which made the experience even cooler. Had a plane and a helicopter taking off when I finished looking around the museum too. Truly a great visit. Try checking it out sometime if you get the chance.

Exciting Place : Everything perfect just that you have to girdle yourself at the end of the trip for 1 hour is not so great! But everything is okay! Harbour, two steam narrow gauge railways to chose from and a lovely cafe. Recommended!
