Thank you English Heritage: I had previously visited in 1996 so a return visit was overdue. I was not disappointed. The audio guide was very interesting and informative. The well looked after grounds, and the cafe with its good selection of gluten-free cakes made my visit complete.

It's a great place to bring kids: Lovely day out. Very friendly helpful staff. Parking is free. Entry price is very reasonable. There is a great play ground and plenty of picnic benches. There is a cafe and gift shop at the entrance and a small cafe inside which sells snacks drinks and Ice creams. You could easily spend all day here.

Worth A Visit : Excellent value for money. We had a lovely day enjoying the wonderful Xmas decorations. The staff and guides were all friendly and helpful. The live music was delightful and the visitors were on their feet dancing. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and strongly recommend a visit. We visited to see the Xmas decorations in December.

Decent Place : Every time we visit the North York Moors we enjoy every moment. Depending on the time of year the colours and scenery change. Autumn is full of golden browns and just beautiful. Loads of small villages dotted around with warm local pubs to defrost inside.

Robin Hood's Bay Full review

avatarpicture coltmertz THE BEST REVIEW
A beautiful walk by the beach : We chose to visit this quiet beach early morning for the gorgeous views we had heard off. It didn't disappoint us at all. We parked on the steep hill and took a walk down to the beach and the village. The beach is popular for the number of fossils all around and the tides. One tip if you are going to this beach is that cover yourself in layers, as it can get unusually cold.
