Great Place : Even in winter, we were lucky with the weather despite the low temperatures to discover this charming little village. The hill with 20 chapels in Orta is worth the detour (better to be well shod) .Free parking during the holidays. Recommended!

Splendid Place : This is the main hub of Orta. It's filled with restaurants and, the day we were there, an outdoor market. It's the place from which the ferry and private boats leave for Isola San Guilio. Great place to visit, recommended.
