Scrovegni Chapel Full review
avatarpicture lilamosci THE BEST REVIEW
History and Art.: Scrovegni Chapel is a church in Pauda. The Church is nothing impressive and I went for an art piece that now resides in the church, a fresco cycle by Giotto. It is one of the most important pieces of western art. The church is also nice and worth a visit.

Great Collection : Nice collection that will be delightful for everyone interested in medieval art. Not my case, but it is still interesting to see, and included in the ticket for the Capella degli Scrovegni (which is a mandatory visit). The temporary exhibitions are also worth your time.

Palio dei 10 Comuni del Montagnanese Full review
avatarpicture andrewlincoln THE BEST REVIEW
Not So Bad : Every year on the first Sunday of September, the laughing Montagnana takes a dip in the past and more precisely returns in the Middle Ages. With this parade of knights and flag bearers all in fantastic costumes, they are preparing to challenge themselves around the vault in this palio where the ten municipalities face each other to decide which is the strongest.

A Masterpiece : The baptistery of Padua, located to the right of the cathedral, dates back to the twelfth century, underwent various changes in the following century, and was consecrated by Guido, patriarch of Grado (1281). It is also the mausoleum of the Carraresi. The frescoes with which it is decorated (1375-1376) are considered the masterpiece of Giusto de 'Menabuoi.

Favorite Visit : You cannot really do a National Park justice by a short visit and a small review. The drive into the mountains is spectacular, with winding roads and hairpin bends for an exhilarating drive. There are walks aplenty in tranquil woods with stunning scenery and views over olive groves and vineyards.
