avatarpicture noahritchenko THE BEST REVIEW
Stunning Place : Took a fantastic tour with Lulu and the dogs. It’s wonderfully interesting and definitely worth a visit. There’s an adorable cottage on site for overnight accommodations. The castle is very close to Peebles, which is a pleasantly sleepy village convenient to Edinburgh and all of the attractions dotting the borderlands.

A Must Visit : We really enjoyed visiting! This place is a treasure, well worth having been saved. Thank goodness the Smail's were horders. The tour staff was as knowledgeable as they were friendly and answered our questions and educated us in the ways of printing with facinating stories and great humour.

Time Well Spent : Fun little museum. Didn't expect to spend as much time here as we did. Loads of information about the jail and the town. Beautiful views of the town and surrounding areas, primarily from the entrance, but also from almost every window or open-air area. Leave time for the Abbey, it is also breathtaking.

Stunning site ruins in the little town: This is a partly ruined monastery and is known to be one of Scotland's largest and richest abbeys from the medieval days. An impressive site with great architecture. The views are pretty from the top and are worth the climb. Even the walk isn't too long to get to the little town and the ruins can be seen from afar. There's plenty of parking available, so that was one less thing for us to worry ...
