Roman aqueduct of Segovia Full review

Highly Recommended : Great! We travelled from Madrid by bus ( 1hr 20 or so. ) The aqueduct itself is pretty remarkable. We were recommended to get best views at sunset and would say that was a good idea. There is a lot else to see in the town so we allowed 6 hrs or so and that let us see a fair bit (alcazar etc). Well worth the trip to visit Segovia.

Nice Place : Absolutely wonderful place. We took a day trip from Madrid and although the drive was a bit long it was absolutely worth it to see the 1 century aqueduct which was functioning until the 20th century! Very beautiful town and old castle to visit!

A magnificent gothic church : This Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral is so stunning inside and out. Gorgeous artistic interiors from the prehistoric era were well worth the visit. This Roman Catholic cathedral dominates the city's skyline. We loved the paintings and the stained glasses inside the church.

Hidden Gem : It's a beautiful castle but it seems that not much of it is actually open as it did not take much time to get through it. The town itself is interesting enough to warrant a visit and the Alcázar is sort of a nice bonus. More or less a place to check off the list rather than a must go.

Truly Amazing : This is well worth a visit. It costs about 3 Euro to visit, which isn't bad at all and worth it. It's a stunning cathedral on the inside and the outside! And because of the cost, it tends to thin out the potential crowds, though affordable, it's nice to go somewhere a bit less crowded.

Memorable Visit : Despite half of it being sectioned off, the cathedral is simply divine. The splendour of the deus is caged off which makes it difficult to get a good snap but still amazing to adore. The side chapel was really nice with the clergy playing the organ to welcome in the new year on the first of January.
