Bask in the glory of this city with a crazy architecture: You can stroll through the narrow streets, climb its infinite staircases, enjoy the all-encompassing views from its high-rise lookout spots and explore the port. There's a constant buzz running through this town and the busy streets prove that it is always active. It was also really fun sampling fresh seafood and the fishermen are so lively, you can't help but feel cheerful.

A Greeny Island: The Rano Raraku volcano, located near the south coast of the island and at the foot of Poike, the most spectacular crater in the region, where the ancient "Pascuenses" sculpted giant statues from the volcano's quarry. Place where the moais were made, the closest you will be to the stone giants, nice place.

An Iconic Symbol for the collective imagination of Rapa Nui: Tongariki is situated on the eastern corner of the south coast of Easter Island in a land of pure scenic beauty. The sky was graciously littered with clouds and the lush greenery all around made it the perfect atmosphere for a day out exploring. There are lookout points towards the edge of cliffs where you can view the sea and enjoy glorious sun sets as well.

An Iconic Sight with a Breathtaking View: The seven moai statues are present here in all their glory and the view is beautiful. We walked around the statues and observed them up close and they appeared extremely intimidating. The clear blue skies with a hint of wind were the perfect weather combination for the day. The best time to visit and take pictures is during the sunset, which is when the setting sun flashes the seven statues and h…

Pure and serene silence - Wonderful day spent in the largest volcano : The sensation of being surrounded by complete beauty and peace is indescribable. Nothing but the howl of the wind and squawking of birds is there to distract and you can take your time to breathe it all in. Paseo Atkinson Full review
avatarpicture isabellaone THE BEST REVIEW
A delightful walkway through an color-filled neighborhood: Take a way through this little walkway that explains how the colonies in the past used to live. There's a lot of enrapturing street art on the walls, with a nice view of the harbor that is definitely pleasing to the eyes. We were in the neighborhood so couldn't stop ourselves from checking it out and it was a very successful trip.

Visually gratifying display of art in an equally striking gallery: Walking by the museum, you honestly cannot go on without stepping inside. The building is so gloriously built and well-maintained that you just need to peek in. Guess what? We weren't disappointed as it's even better on the inside, with over 200 arts exhibited, each beautifully crafted and designed - the place is literal art heaven. An Extravagant Park: Lovely place full of green! Exotic trees and plants all over the gardens. Great for picnics. The palace within La Quinta belonged to the founding family of Viña so expect history. On the flip side closes too early. Nice Views: I love this elevator because it really has the best view of the Port of Valparaiso. Although is really pretty you have to make sure you go during daytime and you have to be really careful with your belongings. There's a really good crafts market place where you can find a lot of iconic things from Valpo and Chile.

An Incredible Museum: Informative museum to learn about the Chilean navy. It could use a little more English postings and some interactive features, hence the 4 stars. Worth the 1000 CLP entrance fee. Whether you are local or a tourist, visiting The Maritime Museum is well worth it.

Marvel at the harbor packed with ships and fishing boats: It is such a busy location but that makes it all the more interesting. The sailors and fishermen hard at work, getting ready to either departure or dock in - it is truly an endearing sight. We even grabbed a ride on a boat for a pretty cheap fare and got to admire the work that goes on behind the scenes. avatarpicture abigontario THE BEST REVIEW
Iconic Museum: This small museum presents a suprisingly elaborate and fascinating look into not just Easter Island but so much of Chile's prehistoric and native history as well as those of neighboring South American countries. I was shocked to discover how far back their history goes and how many historical mysteries and things I thought to be myths are associated with the area and revealed at the museum.
