Stonehenge Full review

Simply Amazing : Nice site to visit. We went on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not too busy. You can’t get very close to the stones however still a great wonder to see. I would recommend walking to the site vs. Waiting for the buses as it ends up being quicker!

Historic Cathedral: The church building is a masterpiece of art and makes it a true historic treasure. It has the tallest spire in Britain. The interior is as magnificent as its exterior and contains amazing artwork and carvings. The church houses original Magna Carta.

Old Sarum Castle Full review
avatarpicture nikoledo THE BEST REVIEW
Wonderful Place : If you go to Stonehenge, Old Sarum is nearby and not to be missed. English Heritage has done a good job with interpretive signs and accessibility. We have been re-reading the book Sarum, and it helped make the site come alive. We were there on a rainy November day, and it was fine.

Queen Elizabeth Gardens Full review
avatarpicture emmabrow THE BEST REVIEW
Great Place : Most visitors to Salisbury who want a green space for a picnic would probably pick the Cathedral Close but I'd advise them to think differently and head for QE gardens instead as there are a lot fewer tourists to contend with and there's a lot more space.

Salisbury's medieval streets Full review
avatarpicture isabellaone THE BEST REVIEW
Great Place : We spent three days walking around Salisbury streets and always seemed to take a different route. The reliable old Poultry Cross became a familiar landmark, even at night ,central to our travels so we were never lost! A must visit.

Just Outstanding : Extremely friendly and helpful staff, the room we got was really fancy and far exceeded my expectations. Ideally located to use as a base to visit the Cotswold. The check-in process was quick and easy. Our room was immaculate, everything worked and the bed was very comfortable.

Regimental Badges Full review
Travel picture of Regimental Badges
avatarpicture jessybarhinger THE BEST REVIEW
Time Well Spent : These wonderful regimental badges were carved into the chalk downs above the village of Fovant by the soldiers of those regiments. Some were done when they were training during WW1 others are more recent. There are laybys on both sides of the road (A30 Shaftesbury to Salisbury) with donation boxes to help towards their upkeep.

Stourhead Full review
avatarpicture ashleeharber THE BEST REVIEW
A Must See : Beautiful. Stourhead is a delight in all seasons. The gardens and buildings/follies are so pretty and beautifully laid out. Is a little tricky to navigate as a wheelchair user but the staff have good suggestions as to how to get round and there is a cart which can take you the whole way round. It’s a lovely day out.
