A short trail to a gorgeous view: This is a massive state park in California which has a short hike to view the picturesque McWay waterfalls. The hike wasn't too tiring, its short and easy. The park is well maintained. The beaches are very beautiful and is one of the unique place that we have been to.

So many things to see and do! : From luxurious hotels to some amazing restaurants, from shopping to great views, there's so much to explore here. We enjoyed our stroll around the area which was filled with little shops. We also made some pit stops at the restaurants to enjoy sumptuous meals too. There was also an aquarium to visit.

Time for some Californian history lesson! : I was really excited about visiting the place with all the research I had done prior to my travel. Exactly as seen in pictures, the Carmel Mission is well maintained with a gorgeous garden, architecturally beautiful chapel and the historical artifacts. We enjoyed taking a stroll by the premises and everything about the place that gave an insight into 1500 years of past!

Another great museum in California: This is a museum dedicated to John Steinbeck with interactive exhibits. The museum is relatively small but they have some interesting exhibits. We took about 2 hours to explore the place. The set-up is really fantastic and took us through exhibits that showcase life from the past. It is a very interesting memorial dedicated to the author John Steinbeck.
