Worth A Visit : From all the churches you can visit in bologna, I think this is the most interesting one. It is not the most fancy decorated with lots of gold and religious art but the complex itself provides an interesting walk through with different parts all interconnected and build at different time periods. |

Must See : We actually visited this restaurant back in May 2014 after visiting the nearby castle. The food and service were outstanding, to a point that it pretty much puts to shame any subsequent Italian dining. A great place indeed, highly recommended! |

Wonderful Experience : Very nice Castle, very preserved. Most walls are still painted and some rooms contain explanations. Although we could not access the last floor and towers due to security reasons, views from other points of the castle were already stunning! Recommended. |

Attractive Place : This one of the most attractive places in Modena. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, the Chatedral was under reconstruction, therefore the interior was partially covered. In spite of that, this a must to visit, the entrance is free of charge, but visitors in shorts are not allowed to enter. |

Amazing Experience : Symbol and pride of Modena. Unique and inimitable beauty. Seeing it leaves you speechless for its majesty, it seems that it touches the sky. You can visit it up to the top where the view is breathtaking. Inside you will also find the kidnapped bucket and the story / legend of why it came up to Ghirlandina. |

Beautiful Views : We visited Ravenna for a couple days on our three week driving tour last year. Wish we had a couple more days. To say that the mosaic work in the churches exceeded our expectations is a serious understatement. San Vitale was most imposing although the exterior is rather mundane. |

Spectecular Views : This place is beautiful, all the mosaics on the ceiling are spectacular!! It can get very crowded as it is not that big. We were allowed to take pictures and we could also stayed as long as we wanted. It was included on the ticket you buy to access the main sites in the town. |

Real Gem : This mausoleum of Galla Placidia is an impressive ancient building taking the form of Latin Cross. The ceiling are decorated with mosaics. The atmosphere is sober. When you watch the mosaics painting you will be struck with magical feeling. I was amazed by the geometry of the building too and wondering how it was built 1500 years ago. |

Magical Place : This beautiful room is visited in the apartment of the abbess of the Benedictine convent of San Paolo. There are two communicating rooms, one frescoed by Araldi and one by Correggio which, with its colors, its mythological and allegorical references, has made this little place truly magical. |

Worth A Visit : Don’t miss this place if you are visiting Parma. The entrance fee might seem a little pricy, but I think we’ll worth it. Fantastic is the restored wooden theater from the 17th century, which is just the preamble to the magnificent with collections ranging from 13th to 19th century. All pieces have been collected by the Estensi family through the centuries. |

Art and History: Teatro Farnese is a 16 century theater in the Baroque-style built by Giovanni Battista. It was destroyed in WW2, but has since been restored. It is a magnificent place to visit. It is not for everyone, but anyone holding a passing interest in art, or history should definitely visit. |
