Gorgeous landscapes, breathtaking scenery and impressive formations! : Although the entrance was a little overpriced, we still enjoyed our visit here with paid tours. We took the code red tour which was the longest one. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site has impressive rock formations and canyons through the dusty desert national park. If you have the opportunity to visit it, accept one of the local guides and listen what they gave to say about the Quilmes and their culture. The part if the ruins that are open to visit have been restored, but from the pucaras you can see the part that has not been restored.

Magical Place: A spectacular place! An incredible moon. The access road has about 7 kilometers and is not in good condition, but it is reached slowly. Although it was not the best date to see birds (July) we could see many flamingos and other birds on the shore of the lagoon.

An art lovers paradise: A well-maintained exhibit of new and old art spread across two floors. We enjoyed our visit here for the quality of the art they have on display and also because the visit was free. Excellent sculptures, paintings and art on display to admire from local and international artists. I wouldn't add it to a must visit unless you are an art lover, but we enjoyed the place overall!

A little museum that has an interesting display of artefact: Take an hour to explore this little museum which has an interesting display of artefacts from the Pre- Hispanic era. Most information is in Spanish and entrance is free on Mondays. The theme of the museum is around state-sponsored terrorism and the torture people from the Salta area had to face.
